My Plans

Introduction

Having put quite a bit of development time and effort into designing/building/testing SPAD planes that fly well, and having my arm twisted by Club members, I decided to make them available to all, so here they are ;

Note that these planes have to go through the "approval" test.  After I am happy with the performance, which usually takes some further development from the MK 1 version, they are test flown by experienced Club Members.

Their comments have been reproduced here as well as on the plans so it's a known performance machine you are building.

1) Kombat Train MK4

Kombat Train is a stable Novices or Experts Combat plane.

The 48" version is for Novices and the 44" version is for Experts.

2) Viper MK4

The Viper is a stable Combat platform but is designed to be lighter and quicker than KT4. It turns quicker and loops and rolls tighter than KT4. Most noticeable is a big increase in speed and control sensitivity, without being "twitchy".
